Sustainability at Orca Splash

Orca Splash is an eco-friendly car wash. A clean car should never come at the planet's expense, so our tunnel is engineered to use less water, recycle what it uses, and keep harmful runoff out of local waterways.

Water Reclamation

Our wash runs on a water reclamation system that captures the water from every wash, filters it, and puts it back to work in the early stages of the next one. That means a large share of the water touching your car has been cleaned and reused instead of drawn fresh from the supply, wash after wash.

Water Conservation

Washing at home with a garden hose can send well over 100 gallons of water down the driveway. Our high-efficiency equipment meters every nozzle, so a professional wash at Orca Splash uses a fraction of that, while getting your car cleaner.

No Storm Drain Runoff

Driveway washing sends soap, road grime, and oils straight into storm drains, and from there into creeks and bayous. Everything we use is captured on site and routed through treatment instead of running off into the Richmond watershed.

Eco-Friendly Products

The soaps, waxes, and protectants in our tunnel are selected to be biodegradable and environmentally responsible, tough on dirt, gentle on everything else.
